The work Nina - Nana deals with the topic of a personal bed as a safe place, a hide away. A space for when one feels the world around is getting too heavy and one feels the most vulnerable. At the same time, the bed can very quickly become a fortress, a personal cage, which is with every hour harder to escape. Next to the personal relationship with the bed, the work also questions what makes something a bed and who has the right to own one. Who is privileged enough to feel clustered and captive in their own bed? Who can take the time to lie down and cannot get up? How to hide in it when one's bed can be torn down and moved every moment? When your sleep is interrupted throughout the night and when the streets get busy in the morning and your bed, which is also your home, has to be packed and hidden away from the public eye?
